How will you connect with large numbers of people to expose your business to? I am a coach in the network marketing field. What have you heard about network marketing? That it is a scam? That only the people who join first make all the money? That the people at the top take advantage of the people at the bottom?
Entrepreneurship is not a walk in the park
The no. 1 reason why many people fail in network marketing, give up and quit is because they focus on their family, friends and colleagues only as their customers. That is definitely a hobby; not a business! Can you run a successful shop that has just 5 or 10 people in your circles as the customers? Yes, when you get started in network marketing you might focus on showing your product/services and/or opportunity to the people in your circles but if you do not grow beyond there you will not build a successful business long term. Think of any successful company you know; East African Breweries, Coca Cola, Safaricom, Nakumatt, Equity Bank… Do these companies rely on colleagues, family and neighbours of the owners of the companies as the only customers they have? Is it possible to build a big business by focusing on just the few people in your circles as the customers? Think of how many customers big companies have; 50, 100, 1000, millions… How much do such companies spend on advertising? Can you build a big organization without reaching a large audience even if you don’t have millions to invest in advertising? You can reach the big numbers without necessarily spending a lot of money, but you will need to put in the work. Success is not handed to anyone on a silver platter.

Marketing has to be learned if you are going to be successful in business. If you are not getting the results you desire, you have to learn the skills necessary for success. How do successful individuals and companies market their services? Unless you are a professional marketer, you have to invest in learning about marketing. Watch the marketing strategies of successful individuals and companies and take good notes. Then, PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE… until you find out what works for you. No one is born knowing anything; everything is learned. Nothing is handed to anyone on a silver platter so you have to put in the work of mastering the skills that you require in order to build a successful business.
